He has played at many festivals including Glastonbury, The Cork Jazz Festival, Malta Jazz and Rock and the Isle Of Wight.

Oliver is a co-founder of award-winning music and arts festival BrisFest – a festival built by the people, for the people. Other projects include: European Director of Creative Minds in Cannes as part of the LA based Creative Minds Group and managing Ozuki Films. He is also part of the team delivering TED X events in Bristol.

Since moving here in 2003, she has been an active member of the community, founding young people’s music collective The Groove Project, co-running Under the Edge Jazz Club and performing annual 12-hour Pianothons to raise money for charity. After the extraordinary workload of MMiW however, she has now decided that 12 hours feels too short, so will do 18 hours in March 2012!

Katie is a member of many different bands and performs regularly all over the country. She also has a solo project Walking the Edge, a collection of original piano music inspired by life here in Wotton.

Liz has been a force within the MMIW team encouraging and enabling marketing and community involvement at all levels, she understands the importance of community and the strength of a united, sometimes unorthodox, approach to getting things done. Dump her in any situation and she will be able to look around and see a new opportunity. “You can achieve just about anything you want to do, you just have to know first what it is.”

She was involved in the very earliest discussions about what was possible and how it could be achieved, has been in charge of PR and the Street Team and much more besides.

Most importantly she has believed in the idea and everyone’s ability to realise it all the way through, even when those around her were exhausted, dispirited and ready to call it a day!

Wendy’s background is in customer relations, retail management, personal development and natural health. She has worked at Waterstone’s and Neal’s Yard Remedies in Cambridge and London.

She and her two sons moved to Wotton in April, and after many months of work on MMiW they have already come to love the place and the people. What a great way to make somewhere feel like home!

Ian has been freelance in arts production, music creation and studio recording engineering for more than 30 years in the UK and Europe. As a producer, composer and conductor Ian has worked with many great classical and popular music artists including New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra, Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney and Sir George Martin on recording and writing projects.

Work in progress includes TV production on programmes in development for BBC and C4 and recording, producing and writing with international percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie, with whom he recently co-wrote the score for Golf in the Kingdom.

As a recording engineer Ian has worked in many of the world’s largest studios including Air Lyndhurst, Abbey Road, Angel Studios in London and mastering and recording facilities in Greece, Italy, France, USA and Canada.

Major music, film and live performance projects include Music for Montserrat at Royal Albert Hall, Circle of Remembrance and Voices of Promise at the Millenium Dome.

Born in Leeds in 1960, he studied music at the Queen’s College, Oxford, then composition with Stanley Glasser at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London. After various jobs in publishing he became a freelance in 2001, working as an author, journalist and composer. His work has been published by Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers, Usborne Publishing, ABRSM and others, and in magazines such as Classic FM,The Architect’s Journal and Escape.

Anthony and Katie have worked on several books together over the last twenty years since their first encounter – when he turned her down for a job and offered her a book to write instead – but have only recently become a song-writing team. They plan to work on many more songs together once life gets quieter again!

Alberto started his versatile career as a cartoonist at the age of 16. He slowly turned to filmmaking as an all round writer-director, devising several short films, documentaries and music videos.

He has worked -amongst all- with acclaimed cellist Jamie Walton, song-writer Paolo Conte and The Bach Choir (patronage of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales).
